Sugar Bottom Recreation Area Off-Road Bicycle Trails
The Sugar Bottom trail system was established in 1990 and has continued to expand over the years. Thanks to Iowa Coalition of Off-Road Riders (ICORR) volunteers’ trail work it currently consists of about 12 miles of pure single track goodness.

Iowa Transportation Map for Bicyclists
The Iowa Transportation Map for Bicyclists shows hundreds of miles of multiuse trails that pass through woodlands, prairies and parks – all highlighting the beauty of Iowa’s landscapes. In addition, traffic levels are indicated for all paved roadways so bicyclists can choose the road routes that match their level of riding experience to enhance safety.

Bicycle Directions
Google has a great feature that lets you search for directions by bike trails, pedestrian trails, or public transportation routes. You can also view trails by using their map overlay.
